Breaking down budgets: How much should you spend on your HMO? (2024)

Budgeting is a bit like going to the dentist. We know we have to do it and we know we’ll be better for it, but it’s still fun.

It's so important to have a budget for interiors when you’re seeing if a deal will be profitable or not, but how can you accurately know what you’ll spend BEFORE doing all the designs and sourcing all the products? If it turns out to be a bad deal, you will have wasted all that effort!

Striking the balance between quoting accurately and spending time is tricky. To help, we’ve compiled a helpful guide on how much the average spend for a HMO interior is. You can expand it to fit your project and take some of the legwork out of the budgeting process.

Think of us as the nice dental assistant who hands you the mouthwash, they’re never too scary.

Remember, this is a rough guide for budgeting (and doesn't include installation). Once the deal stacks, you can likely reduce the costs by hunting for bargains - but it's better to over, rather than under estimate costs.
